Improve team collaboration with ease
Improve team collaboration with Lego® Serious Play®Whether collaboration in and between teams, process optimization or strategy development, Lego Serious Play makes things visible and “tangible“. The constructive visualization creates a space in which influencing factors are presented in context. This provides a basis for discussion across all organizational levels.

Promote team collaboration in a playful way
Storytelling on a shared model
When building with Lego, a dynamic is created that makes it possible to visually represent situations in a playful way in a shared, spatial model as a thought landscape. This is how we discover previously hidden connections and influencing factors. What is on the table becomes negotiable and facilitates discussion about it in a moderated setting.
It usually starts with a simple model of the participants on a selected topic. This is gradually expanded and converted into a common model. This creates a common view of the selected topic. This is the first step towards improving team collaboration.

Promote ideas, collaboration and communication
Accelerate the solution finding process by letting everyone let their thoughts run free and making things that are difficult to put into words or have been hidden for a long time physically presentable.
Develop a wide range of questions
Lego Serious Play is suitable for addressing a variety of areas and topics in the group. Unexpected results often arise because modeling “thinking with your hands” strongly promotes creativity and innovation.
The results are worked out in 3 stages: from the individual model to the group model to the system model.
Iteratively to the overall picture
Complex topics are made visible iteratively, under professional moderation. Obstacles and metaphors can be illustrated, solutions emerge before the eyes of the participants and are immediately “implemented” with the Lego bricks.
Communication becomes tangible across the three construction stages. The overall picture grows by incorporating the knowledge and experience of all participants in the Lego Serious Play workshop.
Three-dimensional insight
At the end, the solution or the goal, as a big picture, is visible to the team and can be “grasped” in its entirety. A common understanding is created and can be discussed. The plasticity of the visualization allows the problem to be examined from several perspectives.
Creating with your hands takes some getting used to at the beginning, but over the course of the workshop it becomes the most normal thing in the world. As a little boy I also thought with my hands and was amazed at the result at the end. That’s exactly what happened to me in the workshop. The connections and elements that suddenly became visible were a huge revelation.

Frequently asked questions about Lego Serious Play
-
It’s about using the Lego bricks provided to symbolically represent certain situations and thoughts. You will learn to “think with your hands”. You don’t have to be creative to do this, in fact, everyone is creative by nature. We will discover this potential together.
-
The focus of the workshop is collaboration within or between teams. Lego is merely the catalyst for visually and haptically representing the team dynamics. In this way, the problems that had previously been simmering for a long time suddenly become tangible and therefore solvable.
-
Of course, because firstly, you also work together in the team and secondly, you are probably involved as a team in the organization together with other teams. There is usually always potential for optimization.
